No. Your clinician considers your symptoms, medical history, examination findings where needed, and blood results together. A result outside a laboratory range does not automatically mean treatment is appropriate.

Testosterone levels vary from day to day and throughout the day. Two separate morning blood tests help your clinician assess whether a low result persists. We’ll explain any preparation needed before testing. You will be asked to get a basic Blood Panel first. If your results show low testosterone, we will then ask you to do the second comprehensive test.

A prescription is never guaranteed. Your prescribing clinician will first decide whether a diagnosis has been established and whether a particular treatment is appropriate and safe for you.

We can discuss other possible reasons for your symptoms and recommend appropriate follow up. Low energy or sexual symptoms do not always indicate a testosterone problem.

Yes. Some hormone treatments can substantially reduce sperm production. Tell your clinician if you are trying for a pregnancy now or may want children in the future so fertility can be considered before any treatment decision.
